Students of Government Polytechnic can apply for the Post-Matric Scholarship provided by the Uttar Pradesh Social Welfare Department through the Uttar Pradesh Scholarship Portal. This scholarship is available for diploma and polytechnic students who are residents of Uttar Pradesh and whose family income is within the prescribed limit. To apply, students must first complete online registration on the scholarship portal, after which they receive a registration number. Using this number, they log in to fill the application form by entering personal details, course information, college details, income details, and bank account information. Students are also required to upload necessary documents such as Aadhaar card, income certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), domicile certificate, previous marksheet, passport-size photograph, and fee receipt. After carefully filling in all details, the application must be finally submitted online and a printout of the form should be taken. The printed form along with photocopies of the required documents must then be submitted to the college for verification. After verification by the institute and department, the scholarship amount is transferred directly to the student’s bank account.
