Detail About How To Apply online For Diploma

Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) was formed in the year 1986-87 for the admission in all the polytechnic institutions in the state by conducting admission test at the state level. Based on the nature of work, Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh has been assigned the responsibility to conduct the Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnic (UPJEE(P)).

Admission to diploma courses in polytechnic institutes of Uttar Pradesh is conducted through the entrance examination organized by the Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP). This examination is held every year for students who wish to take admission in government and private polytechnic colleges across Uttar Pradesh. The admission process generally includes the following steps:

  • Fill the JEECUP Application Form – Candidates must fill the online application form on the official JEECUP website.
  • Appear in the Entrance Examination – After submitting the form, candidates need to appear for the entrance exam conducted by JEECUP.
  • Check Result and Rank – The result is declared online, and candidates receive their rank based on their performance.
  • Participate in Counselling – Qualified candidates must register for the counselling process and select their preferred colleges and branches
  • Document Verification – During counselling or at the allotted institute, candidates must verify their original documents.
  • Final Admission – After seat allotment and document verification, candidates can confirm their admission by completing the required formalities at the institute.
  • Applications for admission to Polytechnic Institutions through UPJEE (P)–2026 will be accepted online from 15 January 2026 to 30 April 2026.
